This is the home of the Jersey Squash Club, a collection of finely tuned athletes honed to an extremely high level of sporting excellence. Then there's the rest of us who, whilst competing hard, do it for fun and would be pleased for you to join us for some exercise and socialising afterwards.
We run regular team and Individual leagues throughout the year and are the venue for a number of tournaments at both junior and senior level. We also have lots of fun events at squash and other sports along with pure social events without any element of exercise either in our own licensed bar or at other island locations, so if you are thinking of becoming a new member or re-joining please contact us by email or telephone the club on 735773. Nick Taylor Nick is our resident Squash Development Officer responsible for the promotion and development of squash in Jersey. Junior coaching in group sessions is available Saturday mornings and personal lessons can be arranged. Court Re-Flooring Due to work to re-floor all four courts the team leagues will be suspended for a short period either side of xmas. Courts C & D are to be worked on over a two week period from 8th December and courts A & B for a two week period from 5th January. Individual leagues will continue on two courts but split over two nights: Div 1-5 will be played tues/thurs evenings and Div 6-10 will be played over mon/wed evenings. You need to register to use it but can then post any questions, news, messages you like for Squash Club or JSRA - normal bulletin board rules apply, no smut, personal attacks, insults (unless amusing) etc. Any transgressions and users will be barred. Any problems, drop me a mail. |
